We aim to deliver a well rounded archaeological field experience, offering placements to those who wish to gain ‘hands on’ practical knowledge of archaeological techniques. Basic skills are covered in the first two weeks of any stay and for participants who stay longer we aim to develop an in-depth understanding of field skills, including excavation, survey, finds processing, recording techniques and post excavation processes.
