However, we recommend booking two weeks minimum for a well-rounded experience. Our tuition fee is \u00a3350 per-week<\/span> which<span style=\"color: #000000;\"> covers all on-site excavation and post-excavation activities.&nbsp; <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><br><strong>PLEASE NOTE: BRP is open to anyone aged 18 and over.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">We welcome all experience levels and we aim to accommodate everyone where possible. Please get in touch with us if you have any questions about access, facilities, etc.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Planning Your Visit<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Your tuition fee covers six days of training. The BRP training week runs Sunday-Friday and Saturday is a collective day off for staff and students to allow time for excursions in the local area or some R and R. The final week we will work Sunday-Friday with accommodation available that night for a Saturday departure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Saturday- Arrival Day<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sunday &#8211; Induction Day<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monday &#8211; Work Day<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tuesday &#8211; Work Day<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Wednesday &#8211; Work Day<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Thursday &#8211; Work Day<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Friday &#8211; Work Day<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Saturday &#8211; Project Day Off\/Arrival and departure day<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>We recommend that students arrive at their accommodation on the Saturday, so they are ready for the onsite induction on the Sunday.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Accommodation<\/strong>&nbsp;with the team in the Budle Bay Campsite Bunkhouse can  be booked through us. Any other arrangements must be booked separately. There are many options for accommodation in the area to suit every budget and we are happy to offer suggestions. However, we do encourage all participants to stay in close proximity to BRP staff, as this allows staff and students the opportunity to get to know one another in a social setting and there are friendly faces around should you need a helping hand. This year our staff will be staying at&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.budlebaycampsite.co.uk\/\">Budle Bay Campsite<\/a>. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>If you are joining us in the bunkhouse or camp nearby then you can join in all the evening activities and shopping arrangements .&nbsp;<\/strong>Camping is not likely to fill up but there are limited spaces in the  bunkhouse (mixed-sex) available each week, so if this is your preferred option we suggest you book with us ASAP. All students will have full access to the kitchen in the bunkhouse.&nbsp;If you would like assistance finding holiday cottages etc. please do not hesitate to contact us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The Booking Process<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Read&nbsp;the <a href=\"http:\/\/bamburghresearchproject.co.uk\/index.php\/archaeology-field-school-2\/\"><strong>Field School page<\/strong><\/a> and the <a href=\"http:\/\/bamburghresearchproject.co.uk\/index.php\/faq\/\"><strong>FAQ page<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Decide if you will be staying at the campsite or not<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fill out the&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/bamburghresearchproject.co.uk\/index.php\/application-form\/\"><strong>Application Form<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You will then receive an email from the BRP staff<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/bamburghresearchproject.co.uk\/index.php\/payment-page\/\">Pay the deposit<\/a><\/strong> to secure your place<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Book your accommodation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Any remaining balance payment details to be confirmed<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Providing their is availability for the weeks you request, we will then ask for a deposit. Without this deposit we cannot guarantee your place during the season. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;<strong>\u00a3350<\/strong> deposit is the payment for your first week. Details of the dig arrangements and payment arrangements will be passed on after you apply.
