We welcome all experience levels and we aim to accommodate everyone where possible. Please get in touch with us if you have any questions about access, facilities, etc.
Planning Your Visit
Your tuition fee covers six days of training. The BRP training week runs Sunday-Friday and Saturday is a collective day off for staff and students to allow time for excursions in the local area or some R and R. The final week we will work Sunday-Friday with accommodation available that night for a Saturday departure.
- Saturday- Arrival Day
- Sunday – Induction Day
- Monday – Work Day
- Tuesday – Work Day
- Wednesday – Work Day
- Thursday – Work Day
- Friday – Work Day
- Saturday – Project Day Off/Arrival and departure day
We recommend that students arrive at their accommodation on the Saturday, so they are ready for the onsite induction on the Sunday.
Accommodation must be booked separately. There are many options for accommodation in the area to suit every budget and we are happy to offer suggestions. However, we do encourage all participants to stay in close proximity to BRP staff, as this allows staff and students the opportunity to get to know one another in a social setting and there are friendly faces around should you need a helping hand. This year our staff will be staying at Budle Bay Campsite.
You are welcome to book a space in the bunkhouse or camp. Camping is not likely to fill up but there are only 7 bunkhouse spaces (mixed-sex) available each week, so if this is your preferred option we suggest you book with us ASAP. All students will have full access to the kitchen in the bunkhouse. If you would like assistance finding holiday cottages etc. please do not hesitate to contact us.
